How to get there:

By road:

Take the Dunethin Rock (Willis Road) turn off the main Bli Bli Road which links Nambour and Maroochydore. Turn right into Lefoes Road at the traffic lights, then turn right again into Sports Road at the tennis courts. The Wetlands Sanctuary is at the end of the sealed road, on the right, just at the entrance to McMartin’s Strawberry Farm and Ice Creamery.

By boat:

Access the sanctuary via the floating jetty by combining a Maroochy River boat cruise with a short guided walk in the wetlands. Alternatively, If you have your own boat, we ask that you moor it at the back of the pontoon, so that it does not hinder the docking of the Cruise Maroochy tour boats. Note: NO fishing is allowed from the pontoon.
